Spoken-word Workshop: Giving Form to Desire

“Mama,Hoor je Mij?” is a project by Stichting Maruf for and by queer womxn of color in Amsterdam to help us use our voice in everyday life, storytelling, and spoken word. In this workshop Margo leads the group in an exploration of the various ways in which written and spoken language can capture sensuality: how can you express the way desire works in you? What do you keep to yourself? What do you reveal? To whom? How can poetic tools and performative tools help you not only express but understand how desire works for you? You will leave the workshop with creative tools to express and explore your embodied desires through language.
